Meet Local Adelaide Podiatrist Joe Keain

Joe Keain
Joe graduated with a Bachelor Degree of Podiatry in 2016 from the University of South Australia. Since graduating he has expanded his knowledge in biomechanics and sports, providing treatments of dry needling and foot mobilisation courses.
Joe is confident in all areas of Podiatry and is one of our Senior Podiatrists at Pod Fit Podiatry. He’s also the recent recipient of Australian Podiatrist Of The Year in 2022!
Being a keen runner himself who suffered severe shin splints when he was younger, Joe sympathises with those wanting to be pain free and get back to being active. Having completed half and full marathons, as well as a 70km ultra-marathon, he understands how frustrating being injured can be.
Joe loves helping all ages and activity levels. He works closely with the Tea Tree Gully Little Athletics Club, Adelaide Trail Runners, and many gyms around Adelaide. Joe aims to help his clients to be pain-free fast, and with the right advice to avoid injuries for the long term.
Common conditions that Joe treats for runners includes heel pains and achilles tendon problems, shin pains, footwear recommendations, bone stress injuries, blister management, and running gait assessments.
